Skills are packaged capability modules that give your agent specific powers — think pre-built tools. There are 313+ skills across four sources: bundled with OpenClaw (53), the ClawHub marketplace (113), the open-source Gooseworks GTM suite (124), and individual GitHub integrations. They cover marketing, finance, DevOps, health, legal, and more.

During onboarding you select skill categories that match your work. Your agent gets a curated set based on those choices. You can reconfigure skills later from your agent settings or the Control UI.

A soul (SOUL.md) is the personality and instruction document that shapes your agent's tone, values, communication style, and constraints. It's generated during onboarding from your preferences — formal or casual, autonomous or guided — and can be edited further in the Control UI. Every edit creates a new versioned snapshot; old versions are never deleted.

The Control UI is a full web-based interface that runs directly inside your VM. Open it from the dashboard by clicking "Open Control UI" — it launches in a new browser tab using a secure one-time token. From there you can chat, browse workspace files, and configure advanced agent settings.

Yes — up to 10 agents per account. Your default "chief" is created automatically. Additional agents each get their own soul, skill set, and configuration, and can be used for different purposes or audiences.

Sub-agents are a coming-soon feature that will let your primary agent delegate tasks to specialised AI team members automatically. Today, all agents operate independently.

A monthly subscription gives you an allocation of AI inference credits. All AI usage is routed through OpenRouter. If you exceed your monthly credits you can purchase additional top-ups from Settings → Billing.

Free (€0 / 2.50 credits), Basic (€35 / 3.00 credits), Plus (€59 / 20.00 credits), Pro (€99 / 50.00 credits), Advanced (€219 / 100.00 credits). Paid plans also include a larger VM and the ability to restart your agent after it stops.

Yes. Every user gets a fully isolated VM — your data is never in a shared environment, never used for training, and never accessible to other users. Mr.Chief runs on EU infrastructure and is GDPR-native.

BYOK support is coming soon. You'll be able to supply your own Claude or OpenRouter keys so your traffic never touches our provisioned credentials.

Your VM is shut down and your data is retained according to our privacy policy. You can export your conversation history before cancelling.

Free tier agents idle-shut after 48 hours. Paid agents stay running unless you manually stop them. You can restart any stopped paid agent at any time from Settings.
